The story
Sun Locator reads your GPS position and runs precise solar algorithms to show exactly where the sun is, its azimuth, altitude and full daily path, with no internet connection required. Track it live, or slide through any time of day and any season to see where the sun was, or will be.
It answers very practical questions. When golden hour hits for a shoot. Whether that apartment gets morning or afternoon light. How a patio or a solar panel should face. Photographers, event planners, homebuyers, designers, landlords, urban planners and property developers all plan around it.
Sun Locator grew into its own product with a dedicated home at sunlocator.app, including insights on the sun’s movement by month and by season.
